HirePrep began over a year ago in Mike's dorm room when he struggled to find effective tools to prepare for investment banking interviews. This led to him building a prototype of what would become HirePrep.
He used this initial prototype to help secure an offer that he ended up declining. He realized that the problem he solved stretched beyond himself. IB candidates need a better tool for interview prep, and that's what he's building with HirePrep.
HirePrep's beta launched to over 1,000 users in October 2024. Since then, HirePrep's ecosystem has grown to 18,000 and counting.
